Dispensing System Presses
A hydraulic press has the perfect features for drawing and deep-drawing operations. It has the ability to form under a low velocity, which can improve metal flow. In many draw applications, strong forces are needed near the beginning of the stroke, and a hydraulic press's control of the force and speed throughout the entire stroke is perfectly suited for this requirement.
The advantage of hydraulics in drawing applications can be taken further with the integration of a hydraulic draw cushion. These cushions can be controlled dynamically to allow the operator to vary the cushion force throughout the draw. This greatly assists with complex parts and material quality inconsistencies.
