St. Louis, MO - Beckwood Press Company has recently delivered an innovative new Hydraulic Press designed with four-axis precision parallelism control. This 350 ton capacity programmable die cutting machine has been specifically designed for off-center loading applications and is used to cut polyurethane to be used in luggage.
The four-axis active leveling, precision parallelism control can be programmed to a desired cut height of +- .001" with performance of +-.002" parallelism side-to-side. The Beckwood Press includes a programmable touch screen operator interface and is integrated with closed loop precision control for position and pressure. The press includes the required safety guards and light curtains for four side access protection. It was built with 24" stroke, 44" x 60" bolsters and includes an automatic ram slide lubrication system and a thermostatically controlled fan powered cooling system.
